To participate, artists grades K-12 will be able to submit artwork to illustrate the theme "What Community Means to Me." Participants can visit https://www.pccart.org/exhibitions/art-on-auburn/ for official guidelines.
The contest will award multiple winners the opportunity to have their art featured on Auburn Road. Artwork will be enlarged to fit 6 - 7’ diameter circles. Winners will be announced and artwork will be unveiled at a community-wide celebration later this year.

Although we are not able to do our annual Hoops for Heart basketball tournament this year we are able to do a virtual trick shoot competition.
Any student who is interested in participating can got to http://www2.heart.org/goto/reuthermiddleschool to register. Then all you need to do is donate $10 to the American Heart Association. Once you complete registration you will receive a code to submit your trick shot video. You will also receive a Hoops for Heart Tshirt with your donation. All videos must be submitted by March 12th to be entered in the contest. If you have any questions please email Ms. Schneider
If you want to participate but don’t have access to making a basketball trick shot don’t worry. There are plenty of ways to complete a trick shot at home with thing you already have.

Volleyball Tryouts
Attention 7th and 8th Grade Girls interested in trying out for the Volleyball Team…
Tryouts will be on Wednesday, 3/3/21 from 3-6 PM and Thursday, 3/4/21 from 3-6 PM. You must be at tryouts for both days. The teams will be selected at the end of tryouts on March 4.
Please make sure you have a physical form on file from either the 2020-2021 school year or the 2019-2020 school year. If you have a physical from the 2019-2020 school year then you MUST complete the MHSAA Health Questionnaire form which is on the District Athletic Website.

Advanced Language Arts and Accelerated Math Placement Testing
Advanced Language Arts: Students currently in Language Arts 7 who want to place into Advanced Language Arts 8 are eligible to be considered for advancement into this course.
Accelerated Math: Students currently in Math 6 who want to place into Accelerated Math 7 and student currently in Math 7 who want to place into Algebra 1 are eligible to be considered for acceleration into these courses.
Eligible students who wish to sign up for the placement test may fill out this form to register. Registration is due by Friday, March 12th.
Testing will occur at the start of the school day on Tuesday, March 16th for ELA and Thursday, March 18th for Math in the Media Center. Students should report to the Media Center and bring at least 2 sharpened pencils. Students taking the math assessment need to bring their own calculator.
