Update on fall sports

At the Middle Level, RCS will not be running school sponsored sports teams this Fall.  This includes Football, Sideline Cheer and Basketball.  As a district, prior to each middle school season we will review and update the status of each sport and season.

Student ORIENTATION Modules

All temporary remote students will be guided through a digital orientation of online expectations and navigation of tools. Teachers will be flexible and provide time and instruction to help students become comfortable with the learning platforms and technology.

Our Information Literacy Specialist Rachel Mainero has created this overview video so parents can learn about the orientation modules that students will complete during the first week of school.
You may use this link to the RCS Library Media YouTube channel containing the helpful orientation videos for students: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqpu2zf6id6nRf7n_YcGJFg.

Mindfulness journal for students, parents & staff!

Picture

Mrs. Mainero created a 30 day mindfulness journal for students, parents, and staff in our community. It is a quick 3-minute journaling page to focus on the good in the morning and then reflect on the day in the evening. It is an editable PDF you can download. It can be printed or filled out on a computer and saved each day.  We hope it can give some structure to focus on something good during this challenging and traumatic time.
